Welcome to Snowflakes by Sarah! This website is a gallery and shop in one, a place to browse and buy one-of-a-kind handmade paper snowflake ornaments and jewelry. I have cut every snowflake out of paper by hand, and laminated each one to make it permanent. Feel free to spend a some time with each snowflake, as you would with pictures in a gallery. The longer you look at them, the more you see. Some of them are abstract, and some are full of designs -- trees, bells, vines, wine glasses, flowers, butterflies, and many, many more.

Hand-knitted Scarves by Sarah make beautiful gifts for yourself or for someone you love, and a portion of the price (20%) goes to The Red Devils, supporting Maryland families living with breast cancer.

All scarves are $35, regardless of style. If you buy online, tax is included, and shipping is $4 for one scarf and $1 more for any additional scarves.
They are gorgeous indoors or out, as an accent to a black suit or as the perfect way to wean yourself off your winter coat. Four pink styles are available now, and many more colors are available in stores (see below) or by contacting me. All scarves should be hand-washed in cold water and dried flat.

Light pink Boa: 100% polyester. Long, luxurious mock feather-fur. All the decadence of a Mae West boa with actual winter warmth. Approximately 5' long, 5" wide.

Multi-pink Spongy: 50% nylon, 50% polyester. Thick, rabbit-soft microfiber blended with candy-pink hairy yarn. Microfiber yarn is variegated from white to hot pink, for a bold overall candy pink color. This is a seriously warm scarf, unbelievably plush and soft, perfect for winter. Approximately 5'6" long, 6" wide.

Light pink Pearly: 25% cotton/25% polyester/25% acrylic/25% nylon. Variegated short-hair yarn with a soft, mercerized cotton-blend yarn -- pearly sheen with fuzzy softness. Approximately 5'6" long, 5.5 " wide.

Peppermint Twist : 50% polyester/50% cotton. Lusciously thick and warm, the Peppermint is similar to the Boa, but blended with a warm, whimsically variegated cotton. Approximately 5'6" long, 6" wide.
